Beats Walking
While I was done in Alice Springs picking up mum, Sandy was able to catch a brumby foal that would have been only a few days old. We could not see his mum anywhere. So now we have a foal that is on the bottle and the girls love it, especially Sharlette (Dr Dolittle). It follows her everywhere, she kisses and cuddles it and probably wishes she could take it to bed with her instead of her teddy!! Below are pics of the girls giving him a bottle.
Hannah's First School Concert
On Thursday 4th of September, Hannah had her first concert. She had to dress up as a robot and dance to High 5's Robot Number 1. She absolutely loved it.
On a Warrego Run
On Saturday we all went on a lick run out to warrego. It was stinking hot, around 38 I think, so we stopped off at No. 14 and had some lunch and the girls had a swim.
Amelia took her first driving lesson and she thought she was just great. Sharlette was very deep in thought wishin she was 15 years older and doing all this on her own. I took the picture of the sunset when we got home. I love the colours!!

A Few More Pics
These are just some more photos that I've taken. Amelia learnt how to open the pantry and decided she wanted to make herself an ice cream. She is holding the dolly that Nanny and Poppy (murphy) sent her. She loves it, it says 'I love you' and then makes a kissing sound. The ones of Hannah and Sharlette is on her birthday playing with play dough that Ken and Jane bought her.
Sharlette and Amelia's Birthday!!
On the the 9th of August we celebrated the girls' birthdays. We went out for dinner to the Three Ways on the Friday night before their birthday as the Tennant Creek Cup was on their actual birthday and everyone was going in. It was just a small affair, Sandy (Katherine was in Melbourne with Chloe), Ken and Jane and Ben and Emily's kids (they own threeways) were there and enjoyed some cake too. Yana, one of the girls who works up there, had so much fun spending the afternoon blowing up balloons, and decorating the tables for them. Sharlette had a cow cake of course and Amelia got a big number 1.
Amelia got a new activity table which she just loves and Sharlette got a chaps and vest set so she can 'buck the bulls out' as she calls it.

Troy's Birthday, New Haircuts and Alice Springs

During out stay in Alice Springs for Amelia's op, we celebrated Troy's 31st birthday and the girls got haircuts. The girls bought Troy a cake and helped him blow out his candles. We couldnt put all 31 on there because the fire department would have been called!!! The girls loved their haircuts, although Sharlette's doesnt look any different. All Hannah kept doing was looking in every shop window and car door and saying how beautiful she looked. I know... I dont know where she gets that from!!! So here are some pics of our time in Alice.
